Government jobs

jobs-emplois.gc.ca is the official website for all Government of Canada jobs open to Canadians outside the public service.
Canadian Forces and Department of National Defence
Hundreds of jobs are available in the Canadian Forces as members of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, and in the Department of National Defence as a civilian public-service employee. Special recruiting programs are offered to Aboriginal people who are interested in full-time employment with the Canadian Forces.
Canada Revenue Agency
The Canada Revenue Agency has full-time and part-time work in offices across the country, requiring a wide range of skills.

Employment Support for All Canadians
Beginning January 6, 2013, the Connecting Canadians with Available Jobs (CCAJ) initiative will help unemployed people receiving Employment Insurance (EI) regular or fishing benefits stay connected with available jobs that match their skills and are in their local area, and will provide them with the additional support to help them find work.
Employment support for veterans
Canadian Forces veterans may qualify for Veterans Affairs Canada’s Career Transition Services. This program helps Regular Force members, as well as some reservists, get practical help finding a job. The Job Placement Program focuses on job-search training, career counselling, and job-finding assistance.
Employment support for people with disabilities
Unemployed or underemployed people with disabilities may be eligible to receive assistance from the Opportunities Fund. The Opportunities Fund is designed to help people with disabilities prepare for and obtain employment or self-employment. It also helps people develop the skills they need to keep a new job.
Employment support for immigrants
For information that can assist you with your job search, please refer to the Foreign Credentials Referral Office which provides useful information and tools to ensure successful outcome.
